• Ministry of Human Resouce Development, Govt of india has identified kashmir university as the monitoring institution  (MI)  for monitoring the implementation of SSA and RMSA and Mid-Day-Meal in 12 Districts of Kashmir province including Leh and Kargil District of the Ladakh Region. After signing the MOU with MHRD,GOI .the Kashmir University entrusted the job of monitoring of the State Resource centre(SRC)

As per terms of refrence SRC as monitoring institute is to coverd allotted 12 Districts of J & K.

• Inspite of all SRC is also monitoring Saakshar Bharat programmes.
